What Is Damage Protection?
The plan protects your device round-the-clock against any kind of accidental physical or liquid damage. Don’t worry about taking them to the Service Center and paying a huge repair cost - we will arrange a free pick-up from your doorstep, get it repaired at an Authorised Service Center & deliver it back to you.
What Is The Validity Of The Plan?
The validity of the damage protection plan starts on the date of the purchase of the plan and ends on completion of two years from the date of purchase of your device.
What Will Happen If There Is An Issue With My Device?
If during the 2-year plan you face any issue with your device, you will have to raise a service request notifying Noon about the damage incident. Noon, through their Authorized service partners will either repair your device using authorized parts or exchange it with a replacement product that is new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability.
Is There A Cool-Off Period From The Plan Activation?
Yes, there is a cool-off period of 30 days from the date of Plan Activation. You will not be eligible for a claim before 30 days of the activation of your membership. Devices that have undergone unauthorized repair and contain non-genuine parts will be rejected.
Will I Be Covered Under This Plan If My Device Has Been Replaced Under Manufacturer’s Warranty?
If the device has been replaced under the manufacturer’s warranty during the Plan Term, then the benefits under the plan for the remaining period will be transferred to the replaced device.
What Are The Plan Benefits Available For My Device?
The Damage Protection Plan covers accidental physical and liquid damages that are not covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty for a period of 2 years.
Under this Plan, you can request a repair twice during a period of 2 Years or if the
damage is to the extent that it’s not repairable then we replace it.
What Is Not Covered In The Plan?
The below cases are not covered:
1.1 Loss or theft of the device
1.2 Cosmetic damages – scratches, outer body damage or stripping of color
1.3 Connectivity Issues
1.4 Any defect or issue covered under the manufacturer’s warranty
1.5 Loss or damage to the device due to mysterious or unexplained circumstances
1.6 Proven fraud or criminal activity in relation to this policy on the part of the beneficiary
1.7 Any type of self-repair or attempted self-repair of the insured gadget by the beneficiary
1.8 Repairs done by an unauthorized repair partner
How Much Time Will It Take To Repair My Device?
The complete process takes about 10 days (subject to availability of the necessary parts) from the time you submit all the documents.
How Much Do I Pay For The Repair?
You will be required to pay an administrative fee of 85 AED for every repair or replacement of your device.
My Device Is Stolen, Can I Claim It Under this Plan?
The Plan does not cover burglary, theft, etc. It only covers accidental and liquid damage.
Should I Hand Over The Device To The Courier Agent Who Has Come To Collect It? Is He An Authorised Service Representative Of Yours?
You may hand over the device to the pick-up agent after receiving a confirmation from us.
Can I Change My Device After Subscribing To The Plan?
No, the plan will only cover the device for which the plan was originally purchased. If you buy a new device, you may purchase a new plan for the new device.
