Product Review Guidelines

What are Product Reviews?

Product reviews help customers learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them. All product reviews must follow our Community Guidelines and Product specific guidelines.

By using our ratings and review features, customers agree to our terms of use and Community Guidelines. Customers also agree to these product guidelines, which we update from time to time.

Who can participate

To submit a review for a product, users need to have ordered and received a product. This helps us ensure all reviews are submitted by people who have some experience with the product.

What should it include?

Your review should focus solely on your experience with the product you have purchased. Your feedback should aim to help other customer’s purchase decision and should answer some of the following questions:

  • What do you like about the product?
  • Is the product easy to use?
  • Is this product worth the money?
  • Would you recommend this product to a friend?
  • What should others know before buying this product?

You can rate products from one to five stars, with five stars being the best. The product’s overall rating will appear near their name on our site.

What is not allowed

We have the right to remove feedback that isn't about your experience with the product or violates one of our community or product feedback guidelines. If your feedback includes any of the following, we'll remove it:

Community Guideline Violations
Community guidelines restricts content with any of the following:

  • Promotional content
  • Offensive language
  • Abusive or illegal content
  • Personal information

Seller, Order, or Shipping
We don’t allow product reviews that focus on:

  • Sellers and their reputation
  • Ordering issues and returns
  • Shipping packaging
  • Product condition and damage
  • Shipping cost and speed

Why not? Product reviews are meant to help customers learn about the product itself, not someone’s individual experience ordering it. That being said, we still want to hear your feedback about sellers and delivery, just not in product reviews.

Comments about Pricing or Availability
Reviewers can talk about price if it’s related to the product’s value. For example, “This is a great deal for 30 AED!”

However, pricing comments related to someone’s individual experience aren’t allowed. For example, “I found this cheaper at my local mall.” These comments are not allowed because they aren’t relevant to all customers.

Some comments about availability are also okay. For example, “I wish this book was also available in paperback.”

However, we don’t allow comments about stock. For example, “I wish I could buy this again but now it’s out of stock!”. Again, the purpose of product reviews is to share product specific feedback that is relevant to all other customers.

Conflicts of Interest
It's not allowed to create, edit, or post content about your own products or services, or in exchange for any form of compensation. The same goes for products or services offered by:

  • Friends
  • Relatives
  • Employers
  • Business associates
  • Competitors

Consequences for Violations

Violations of any of our guidelines make the community less trustworthy, safe, and useful. If someone violates the guidelines, we may:

  • Remove their content
  • Limit their ability to use community features
  • Remove related products
  • Suspend or terminate their account

If we find unusual reviewing behavior, we might limit the ability to submit reviews or visibility and effect of those reviews.

If someone violates local laws, we might take legal action that results in civil and criminal penalties.

How to report violations

Please email help@noon.com. Tell us where the content is and why you think it's a violation.

If someone offers you compensation for creating, editing, or posting content that violates our guidelines, forward the offer to help@noon.com. Please include:

  • Contact information
  • Product detail page
  • Screenshot of the compensation offer

After we receive your report, we'll investigate and take appropriate action.

      Installation related details are available on the product page as tags or as part of the shipping fee details. Additional shipping charges for such products include installation service.

      Search for the product of your interest and click on it to view the product page. Scroll down the page to find the ‘Specification’ tab or click on the floating “Specification” button to view all the product specifications.
    • How do I see product reviews?

      Search for the product of your interest and click on it to view the product page. Scroll down the page to find the ‘Reviews’ tab or click on the floating “Reviews” button to view all buyer reviews for the related product.
    • Why are there different prices for the same product ?

      The same product can be sold by different sellers. Sellers can list their offer against a product while keeping the price competitive. For example: One seller might sell an item at AED 100, 100 SAR or 100 EGP, while another would sell it at AED 110, ...
    • Do you have product categories? Where can I find them?

      You can view all our product categories by clicking on the ‘All categories’ drop down on the top left corner of the page.
