The “Report” button is a safety feature that allows customers to alert the noon team about inappropriate, offensive, or misleading reviews posted under seller profiles. This helps keep our platform safe, transparent, and respectful for all users.
Who Can Use the Report Button
Any customer with a noon account can report a review. Guests and users who are not signed in will need to log in first to access the “Report” option.
How to Submit a Report
Go to the seller’s review section on the product or seller page.
Click the “Report” button next to the specific review.
A pop-up window will appear with several report categories — select the one that best describes the issue.
Click “Report Review.”
Once submitted, a success message will appear, and a confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.
What Happens After You Submit a Report
Once a report is submitted, noon’s moderation team reviews it carefully to determine whether the content violates the Community Guidelines or Seller Review Guidelines.
If the review is found to be in violation, it will be removed or edited as appropriate.
If the review complies with the guidelines, it will remain visible.
Reporting a review does not affect a seller’s overall rating unless the review is confirmed to be invalid.
What Can Be Reported
Reports can be submitted for review that fall into any of the following categories:
1. Language Issues
Reviews containing:
Profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory language
Unintelligible or unsupported text
Spam, repetitive text, or irrelevant content
Promotional content about competitors or external links
2. Personal Information
Reviews that include:
Full names, phone numbers, or email addresses
Any personally identifiable information about customers or sellers
3. Harmful or Inappropriate Content
Reviews that contain:
Harassment or bullying
Hate speech or inflammatory remarks
Explicit, sexual, or illegal content
Promotion of violence or criminal activity
Outcome of a Report
noon investigates all reports and takes appropriate action based on the severity of the violation. If further clarification is needed, noon may reach out to the reporting customer or the review author.
